I’m a little behind the times (and it might not be appropriate given my previous post, for those of you who hate J.Crew…all two of you, that is), but I couldn’t resist posting images from a J.Crew photoshoot featuring the cast of The Romantics. The styling of the shoot, per usual, is flawless. Katie Holmes looks normal. And I really miss The O.C. days. Oh, Seth Cohen, how I loved your snarky commentary and cheeky wit!
Also, confession: on the flight to Paris, I may or may not have indulged in the cinematic masterpiece When In Rome. And now I sort of have a crush on Josh Duhamel.
I didn’t know much about The Romantics until I started seeing these images around the blogosphere, but the trailer does look mildly interesting. Has anyone read the book? Are you planning on seeing it?

I definitely want to see it. Haven’t read the book though, but I like the trailer.
I love the photos as well except for one complaint – why do they have to make the hair on all the girls so messy? It doesn’t need to be impeccably neat, but it’s a bit off for me.
Loving the sequined skirts though – if only I had a place to wear something like that!
I actually don’t mind the messy hair. But that’s probably because I have an often un-tameable mop on top of my head and my messy buns end up looking sort of like this.
J.Crew’s sequined items are ridic this season! Have you seen those sequined harem pants??? I want to see someone wear those out. It will probably happen only in New York. Or Vegas.
I haven’t seen the pants – I will have to check those out. I am not a fan of the harem pants trend at all. I’m sure someone in NY will wear them. In Vegas they would wear sequined harem pants but I feel like they wouldn’t be from J Crew.
