These streets will make you feel brand new

Hot off the presses! A few snaps from the last 24 or so hours in NYC…still a couple more days to go!

Above: You know it’s a good night when you have three glasses of Champers. Tamra arranged an amazing dinner at Lure. I loved meeting her and Mackenzie in real life for the first time, and getting to know Natalie too! Also there but not pictured: Grace, Becca, Meg, Alex, Erika, Nicole, Elizabeth, Christine, Chassity, Amanda, Tobe, Gabrielle, Roxy, Melissa…yeah, basically everybody.

More pics:

This morning I met a college friend of mine for breakfast at The Grey Dog. It’s always so fantastic to catch up with old friends and see where life has taken you. After, despite the mist and humidity, I went on a lonnnng walk that took me through Washington Square Park and up 5th. The fog reminded me of SF…though the mugginess certainly did NOT (hello, frizz). I ducked for cover in a bookstore for a while, where I did a little reading on recommended restaurants for the cities we’re visiting in France.

I passed by this fabric store near the Flatiron building. I loved the front window display! Completely out of order, but some additional shots from my stroll through Washington Square Park.

Tonight: dinner and more fun get togethers. Why do I not come to New York more often again?

I so wish I could have joined in on the phone! I hate living at the bottom end of the country!
