Hello there vmac+cheese readers! Jacquelyn from lark & linen here holding down the fort while miss McGinley is off gallivanting her way through the South of France. Not to fear though! While the rest of us may not have the option of sitting sea side with a glass of champagne in hand, or meandering through tiny, winding, cobblestone streets at will, we can at least pretend (and, of course, live vicariously through Victoria’s updates upon her return).
If you ask me, this stunning French home would make the perfect backdrop for our imaginary vacation. Picture views of rolling hills over al fresco dinners that linger late into the night; a long, deep sleep in that oversized white bed, windows flung open; or a late afternoon dip in the pool to cool off after a hot day in the city. The crisp white walls set against the exquisite aged stone and hints of unexpected colour in this home are things that dreams are made of. It’s places like these that make me question my city-dwelling, condo-living ways (and that says a lot about a self-proclaimed city girl like myself). I really couldn’t imagine a more suitable place for a pretend getaway of epic proportions. Get the rest of the house, after the jump!
