The Man Behind Stripes & Sequins

I have been SO excited to launch this series, and I can’t think of a better guy (and blogger!) to kick it off. Today marks the start of The Man Behind the Blog, a semi-monthly series which will interview some of the most important people behind blogs — the significant others who put up with constant Instagramming, tweeting, and chatter about all things blog related. What’s it like to date a blogger when you’re NOT a blogger? What are the perks, and what are the challenges?

I decided to start this series after discovering that my own struggles insofar as integrating the blog world with my relationship were certainly not unique. That in fact, lots of bloggers go through the same ups and downs, and hilarious moments, too.

So, without further ado, I’d like to introduce today’s man behind the blog — it’s none other than Stefan, aka the other half of Grace from Stripes and Sequins! I feel lucky to say that I’ve been able to meet BOTH of these crazy kids in person, and not only are they freaking adorable together, but they’re the perfect couple to help me launch this series. If you’re not already following S&S (um, where have you been?), stalking Grace and Stefan’s adventures is a great place to start. But for now, take it away, Stefan!

THIS IS SUCH A FUN SERIES! I smiled the entire way through. I dn’t have a boyfriend/husband or anything and I’m afraid a blog gets too personal sometimes as well, I can learn from these responses for a future sig other and “read him in” accordingly. I love how I just made that sound as if we’re all part of the CIA haha. Well done, Victoria.

This series is SUCH a good idea. It’s always interesting to see someone’s perspective who may not be totally onboard with, or understand, the whole blogging thing. I can’t imagine what that would be like ;)

This. Is. Awesome. I defintely forwarded the link to my husband.

My friend Derek suffers from blogging boyfriend syndrome. His girlfriend’s blog is called The Hsu Closet (pronounced “shoe”, her last name), and he’s always joking that he’s going to start a blog called Djeu Boy (pronounced “jew”, his last name. I’m going to have to share this with him as well!

I love this! Reminds me A LOT of my relationship. My poor boyfriend has to take pictures of my outfits every week, etc. He’s a good sport though :)

Also – I’m a big Stripes & Sequens fan! I had the pleasure of working remotely with Grace because of her position at BaubleBar and I’ve become an avid S&S reader since!
