STAY TUNED: Hey, you know all those fun beauty posts I’ve been doing with Tata Harper? We still have a couple more to go, and the next one you’re not going to want to miss. It’s a giveaway with tons of skincare and aromatherapy goodies (oh, and some specialty chocolate!). And PS — there will be THREE winners. I’d be back here on Monday, yo.

PONDER: This Design*Sponge post. I’ve asked both bloggers and readers alike for their thoughts, and responses are interesting. I’ve been thinking about a lot of the things Grace discussed for a while now. Conclusions? Still arriving at them, but I do know that no matter what, I’ll always keep a blog of some kind (occasional lack of posting, like yesterday, not withstanding).

TRAVEL: To South Africa, with Lark + Linen, we go!

EXPERIMENT: with this whole cauliflower flour thing. Have you heard about using riced cauliflower as a crust, instead of wheat flour? I am intrigued. Let me know if you have tried!

CHECK OUT: A really cool exhibition that’s one part of fashion week I wouldn’t want to miss. Sweet reader (and grad student) Juliana alerted me to the exhibition “Runway Moments: New York Fashion Week,” which is put on by NYU Masters in Costume Studies students and explores the seminal moments in the history of NYFW. If you’re in the area, check it out — it’s free, and running through February 12.

PERUSE: Anthro’s latest collection of shoes. There are some beauties for spring and summer (I mean, hello, and yes please.)

LOL: at this (fake) video of an “un-autotuned” Lorde at the Grammys. Even though it didn’t happen live (or at all, for that matter)…I seriously laughed out loud through the entire thing.

SOAK: under one of these. I realize this is a bizarre thing to link to, but honestly, in a rented apartment with mediocre water pressure and a sad, flimsy existing shower head, this thing has changed my life. Especially given the winter weather. I was finding excuses to shower this week!

HAVE: a wonderful weekend!

Cauliflower crust is the bomb ladies! It’s not just good as a pizza crust but it makes some amazing cheesy bread sticks. Breadsticks -> http://happilyeverafterthewedding.com/2013/09/10/recipes-friday-night-junk-food/ and my favorite pizza crust recipe -> http://www.eat-drink-smile.com/2011/04/cauliflower-crust-pizza.html Let me know if you try it out and love it! It’s different but good in its own way.

Not gonna lie, I make an excellent paleo cauliflower fried “rice.” Cauliflower’s a pretty neutral flavor, so I’d totally try it in faux breadsticks and pizza. Hmm… Might have to get on that…

P.S. Speaking of not paleo, we went to El Cholo last night. Mauro was asking about you and Joe. :-)

I’ve been meaning to make cauliflower crust pizza for years … but when it comes down to it, when I’m ready to spend a few hours making homemade pizza, I don’t want to risk it!
