Say hello to the fabulous Jeanne, author of the blog Shop Sweet Things. Since last fall, I’ve gotten to know Jeanne through several one on one lunches and blogger events, and not only do I admire her as a creative, but also as a momma, a business woman, and an amazingly stylish lady! In the year plus that she has been blogging, she has accomplished incredible things (I mean, check out this press page!), and trust me when I say that more is on the horizon. Meet Katie, the voice behind the gorgeous blog Modern Eve. I was able to meet Katie this past January at Alt (yep, another one!), and she’s exactly how you’d picture her from her blog — warm, creative, ambitious, and definitely a Texas girl at heart! Katie’s blog is a great mix of fashion, outfits, design and even a blogger tip here and there, all put together with her colorful, fun approach. I swear, 2012 is the year of women finding their way. Meet Erika, from the lovely blog Radiant Republic. Not only is she one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet (and I’m pleased to say that I actually will get to meet her, later this May), Erika recently announced she’s launching a business that will allow her to incorporate one of her lifelong passions — working with kids. Between this new venture and a couple other projects which recently brought her out west, this girl’s future is certainly bright! I’ll let Erika fill you in on the rest. Becca Atwood’s blog {extra}ordinary wonders never ceases to surprise and delight. It’s a design and art lovers dream — she features guaranteed new-to-you artists and pretty color posts, and the site is filled with original content, from Becca’s beautiful sketches, to lovely photographs of the day to day.  The art and design angle isn’t coincidental: Becca studied painting at RISD, has designed for Anthropologie, and specializes in making patterns (she even helped me put together some ideas for a pattern I want to use on our Save the Dates!). Beyond being exceptionally talented, she’s recently been so kind to lend me a friendly ear, to talk about both wedding and business stuff. And PS, if the last name sounds familiar, it is. Meet Viviana, the lovely blogger behind the daily style and fashion blog Fashion Truffles. Besides being gorgeous and having a killer sense of style, Viviana’s got brains too — she’s studying for her CPA, and recently, helped me do a mini audit of my own accounting books to make sure it was all on the up and up (fellow small business owners, I think you just found your girl!). I’m looking forward to meeting her this coming May when I’m in New York. I’m positive she’ll be as warm, friendly, and fun in real life as she is on her blog and over the phone.
